Yas Marina

In Summer 2022, Dromo was engaged by Colas Middle East, in a construction team where also Topcon Position System was involved, to provide technical guidance and support during the works.

The circuit has been shortened to 5.28km, the restructuring took place in three key areas of the track:
North Hairpin, Eliminating the chicane and widening the hairpin at Turn 7
South Marina Removing the four sharp corners at Turns 11, 12, 13, and 14 to be replaced by one long banked turn
Hotel section: Opening up the radius of four corners (Turns 17, 18, 19 and 20) to create a faster flowing section of the track.
